Hi Nicole,

If you scroll down on our main lesson sections page (https://ellii.com/courses), you'll see our Young Learners & Adult Literacy section at the bottom. I'd recommend using our level filter for Lit, Pre Beg, and possibly Beg lessons in each section to find suitable materials. The Phonics & Pronunciation, Word Bank, and Artistic Activities sections come to mind as being suitable for kids ages 3–5.

Possibly the most useful area of the site for young learners is our Flashcard section: https://ellii.com/flashcard_genres

Hi,
I'm a private ESL tutor. I'm taking on an adult ESL-er who is a false starter, on the beginner/low-intermediate level.
Initially, we'd like to work on the speaking skill (lacks vocab and grammar), and then progress to writing.
I wonder if you could point me to where to start, and perhaps the order in which to take things on.

Hi Limor,

If you go to Class Prep in the nav bar once you're logged in, you can click on Folders in the dropdown menu. From the Folders page, click on ESL Library Folders (or use this quick link: https://ellii.com/folders/published). We have a bunch of mini-courses that are guided curriculum for various ages and levels. For your needs, I'd recommend Mini-Course 1: Beg (Adult Ed), Mini-Course 1: High Beg (Adult Ed), and Mini-Course 1: Low Int (Adult Ed). Within those courses, you can focus more on the suggested speaking, grammar, and writing materials. Many of our lessons include vocabulary preview and review tasks. Happy teaching!
